Azerbaijan Chess Federation

To achieve the objectives the Federation operates in the following areas:

• The Federation promotes and develops the sport, and for this purpose holds public events using the mass media, as well as in this field:
• Elaborates programs, organizes training camps;
• Holds local and international tournaments and championships in Chess in the Republic of Azerbaijan; 
• Assists in the opening the Chess sports clubs;
• Strengthens and develops relations and cooperation with international organizations and national federations of foreign countries;
• Ensures the protection of rights and interests of athletes, coaches and judges;
• Determines the composition of the national team and coaches on the annual base;
