Azerbaijan Handball Federation

The Federation shall be engaged in the following activities after obtaining a license from the relevant governmental body in order to carry out activities requiring special permission in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan:

• rendering assistance in the development of the sport across the country;
• development and promotion of handball, increasing the role of handball in the growth of the national consciousness and a sense of patriotism, as well as the health protection;
• preparation of sports facilities;
• preparation of highly qualified athletes and ensuring their successful performance in the international arena;
• studying and generalization of national and international sports experience in the field of handball development;
• active participation in the reorganization of the physical education - the sports movement in the country through the strengthening the healthy social forces.

To achieve the objectives the Federation:

• Organizes various sports events together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• Contributes to the preparation of the national teams of Azerbaijan to participate in the official sports events;
• Carries out the allowed financial - economic and foreign economic activities;
• Is engaged in other activities not contrary to the legislation.
