Azad Rahimov met with the winner

“Our main goal is to introduce Azerbaijan to the world as a chess country and to be in the top ten in the world chess rankings. The victory of your 14-year-old chess player at the Aeroflot Open-2020 International Chess Tournament in Moscow has not only made us happy, but also made us feel proud. We will always support and protect you for your development ," said the Minister of Youth and Sport Azad Rahimov at the meeting with 14-year-old winner of the Aeroflot Open 2020 Chess Tournament Aydin Suleymanli.

The meeting was also attended by the Vice President of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) Mahir Mammadov.

Expressing gratitude to the Minister for his attention and reception, Aydin Suleymanli spoke about his victory, the course of the game, his opponents and future plans and trainings.
