Minister Azad Rahimov attended the meeting of the Ministers responsible for Sports of the Council of Europe

The 15th meeting of the Ministers responsible for Sports of the Council of Europe has been started in Tbilisi, Georgia, on October 15, 2018.
Azerbaijan is represented by the Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov. More than 320 participants participated in the meeting "Protection of Human Rights in Sport: Commitment and Responsibility."
It was noted that the main point is participation in sport and propagation of the existence through the Human Rights. Protecting the rights of athletes, preventing doping use, creating greater opportunities for the active participation of the citizens of all the levels of society in the field of sports were at the centre of the discussion. In addition, protection of human rights, responsibility and general commitment in the exercise, fight against corruption in the sport and the activation of activities were among the key issues discussed.
