Today, Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov received athletes who returned home with the medals from the XXIX World Summer Universidad held in Taipei, China.
The Minister spoke about the achievements gained in the sport in the recent years, the victories of athletes returning from Taipei, their success in the prestigious competitions held in our country and noted that each of them played an important role in the development of sports.
Then, the word was given to Vice President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade. Chingiz Huseynzade congratulated the athletes and said that their successes have played an important role in the development of the country's sport and wished success to each of them in the future competitions.
At the end, there was the awarding ceremony of the athletes returning home with the medals from the XXIX World Summer Universidad held in Taipei, China, in accordance with the decree signed by the President of the National Olympic Committee, president Ilham Aliyev.
